Convenient location! the bus stop to Ginkaku Shrine is right around the corner, which was a major bonus. the staff here were top-notch - so friendly and on the ball! 👍

we had a deluxe twin room with comfortable bed and a work desk, multi-channel television, and a sitting area. the decor was nice and the staff were extremely helpful.

Location in the middle of the city was a plus.

The staff were amicable and attentive. The hotel had an amazing location close to Takasegawa Ichino Funairi. It was in a quiet street.

Everyone was attentive and excellent, I felt very comfortable. The location was beautiful also very close to the bus that take you directly to Ginkaku shrine. And I truly enjoyed that it was near subway and several hotels/areas.

The room was large and spotless. I was offered a room with lovely views of the garden. The location was central, near restaurants, shrines, the train station, and shopping malls.

Staff were very friendly and the hotel was little, it had perfect location very close to the famous temples. Location: the property was near the shopping malls and the train station and several hotels / areas. We dined out at Teppanyaki Manryu, set easy walk to the hotel.

I truly enjoyed the tastefully decorated rooms. The staff were very attentive. The hotel is in a peaceful area, just next door to major sights in Gion and the main shopping district.

The location of Gion Misen is incredibly comfortable, being close to Sanjoko Bridge. The rooms are luxurious and spotless, offering a lovely view of the nearby rooftops. The amenities provided are thoughtful and made my stay truly enjoyable.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent - the room was spacious, light, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location in the heart of Gion was perfect, with easy access to beautiful districts and attractions in Eastern Kyoto. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially a knowledgeable guy who has lived in Japan for 10 years and a lovely girl from Turkey.

The breakfast could have been improved with more variety.

The location was amazing, in the main communal area, convenient to go everywhere. You can find Mimasuya close to the hotel to have lunch.

The room had central heating, a private safe, and a flat-screen television, which I loved. The views of the city were lovely. The location was marvelous and incredible, just a 10-15 minute walk from Kyoto International Manga Museum.
